Agreements

Intern Agreement

Version 2026-10-14. Last updated 14 October 2026.

What you agree to when you apply to AI Harness Labs as a learner, and what we agree to in return: the course, the fee and refunds, and the internship.

1.Who this is between

PoolsiFi Technologies Inc. ("we", "us") and you, the person applying as a learner. You accept it by ticking the box on the application form, and we record which version you accepted and when. The Terms of service and the Privacy policy apply alongside it; where they differ, this agreement wins for learners.

The business you are matched with is not a party to this agreement. You sign a separate NDA with it (clause 8).

2.What the programme is

A self-paced online course in building AI agents, with no deadline. A capstone agent you build yourself, reviewed by AI against a fixed rubric; we can step in and change the result. Then, once your capstone is approved, an unpaid, remote internship of 1 to 3 months on a real project for a US business, guided by an AI mentor, with a call with the business owner every week and a weekly check-in you post on your internship page. How the programme works walks through each step.

3.The fee

Applying is free. If we accept you, you pay $300 once, in US dollars, through Stripe, or by bank transfer if we agree it with you. It covers the course, the AI mentor, the AI review of your capstone and one internship placement. Nothing else is required. Extra placements at other businesses are optional and have their own fee (clause 6).

4.Refunds

4.1 Full refund within 14 days of paying, if you have not completed the second module of the course.

4.2 Full refund if we cannot offer you an internship within 90 days of your capstone approval.

4.3 No refund once an internship starts. Your internship starts when we match you to a business and send you its brief.

4.4 No job guarantee, ever. A hire, a paid contract or a referral at the end is a chance, not a promise, and not getting one is not a reason for a refund.

4.5 Outside 4.1 and 4.2 the fee is not refundable. To ask for a refund, write to hello@aiharnesslabs.com. A refund goes back to the card or account you paid with. Refunds under these rules are issued automatically, to the card you paid with; a payment made another way, such as a bank transfer, is returned by the same method.

4.6 Each extra placement you buy ($50 for a placement at another business) has its own fee and these rules. Full refund of that fee if we cannot offer you that placement within 90 days of it becoming due. It becomes due on the later of the day you pay for it and the day the placement before it is completed.

4.7 Full refund of that fee if you cancel the extra placement before we match you for it. You can cancel it on your account page, or ask us.

4.8 No refund of that fee once that placement starts. It starts as 4.3 says: when we match you to the business and send you its brief.

4.9 Each fee stands alone. A refund of one extra placement never changes the course fee or the fee of another extra placement, and the course fee is refunded only under 4.1 and 4.2.

The same policy is on its own page: Refund policy.

5.Placement

Placements go to trainees whose capstone is approved, in the order they finish, as suitable projects come in. We choose the business, and we try to match what you enjoyed building most. We do not promise a particular business, start date or length beyond the 1 to 3 month range. If we cannot offer you an internship within 90 days of your capstone approval, clause 4.2 applies.

6.Extra placements

6.1 The fee covers one placement. If you want more depth, you may add extra placements, each at a different business from every one you have had, for $50 each, up to 3 placements in all. You can add them when you pay the fee or later, from your account page, as long as you are under that number. They are optional: nobody has to buy one.

6.2 Placements run one at a time, never two at once. We match you for an extra placement once the placement before it is completed. Everyone waiting for a first placement is matched before anyone waiting for a second, and a second before a third.

6.3 An extra placement is a chance, not a promise: we do not promise a particular business, start date, outcome or job. Clauses 4.6 to 4.9 say when its fee comes back to you.

7.Conduct

Treat the business, its data and its customers as you would want your own treated. Post your weekly check-in honestly so the owner can review and approve your work, write to the owner when you need an answer, and say early when you are stuck or running late.

Do your own work. You may use the AI mentor and other tools, but you are responsible for what you hand over. Never ask for or keep a business's passwords or production access unless the owner chooses to give them, and never use its data outside the project.

We can end your place for misconduct, including a breach of the business's NDA.

8.Confidentiality

You will sign the business's NDA before you see anything beyond the summary of its brief. Our template is the Mutual NDA, signed at matching. Keep the business's information confidential during the internship and after it, as the NDA says.

9.Intellectual property

9.1 The business owns the system you build for it: the code, prompts, configuration, documentation and the running agent. It may use, modify and resell it, on its own or as part of its products, without paying you or us. To the extent any right in that work would otherwise be yours, you transfer it to the business as the work is created.

9.2 You may describe the work in your portfolio and CV in summary form, without confidential details: the problem, what you built, the tools you used and the outcome. Not the business's data, code, customers, prices or anything its NDA covers.

9.3 Your capstone is yours. You built it before placement, for yourself.

9.4 The course material is ours. Use it for your own learning; please do not copy or redistribute it.

10.Business memory

If the business you are placed with turns on business memory, you may connect your agent to it with a token you create on your internship page. Using it is optional; not using it never counts against you. Creating a token is your agreement to this section.

  • Keep the token private, like a password. Revoke it as soon as you stop using it or think it has leaked, and tell us.
  • Use the memory only for that business's project. What is in it is the business's confidential information under the NDA.
  • Do not copy its contents into your own notes, your own AI memory, another project or a public place. Your portfolio may describe the work as clause 9.2 allows.
  • Notes your agent adds become part of the business's memory and belong to the business.

Your agent can read and add notes, never delete or change the business's facts, and every token ends when your internship ends. You will protect the business and us against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs that arise from your misuse of a memory token or of what is in the memory, on the same terms and limits as your promise under "Indemnities". A mistake made in good faith while following the brief is not misuse.

11.Reference letters and referrals

The business owner records the outcome of your internship and writes your reference letter. We ask every owner for an honest written review, and we pay a business its completion fee only for an internship it completes with one, so letters and referrals reflect what the owner saw, not what either of us would like them to say. We do not edit them. If the owner refers you to another business, you are emailed each time, and you can withdraw any referral at any time.

12.AI mentor and AI review

Your mentor and the review of your capstone are run by an AI model. Your messages to the AI mentor, your internship brief and your capstone submission are sent to the model provider named in our Privacy policy, only to produce a reply or a review. The mentor can be wrong: check what it tells you before you rely on it, and never paste a business's passwords, keys or customers' personal data into it. We can change the result of an AI review, and we can step in on an internship if something is going wrong.

13.Ending

You can leave the programme at any time: write to hello@aiharnesslabs.com. Clause 4 decides any refund. We can end your place if you break this agreement or the business's NDA. A business can stop an internship at any time; if it stops for reasons that are not about you, tell us and we will look at placing you again.

14.Limits

We provide the course and the placement in good faith. We are not responsible for what a business does, for the outcome of an internship, or for losses that are not a direct result of something we did wrong. Our total liability to you, under this agreement and every other agreement with us taken together, is limited to 25% of the amounts you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. If you paid us nothing in that time, we have no liability to you. This limit does not reduce a refund we owe you under clause 4. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

15.Indemnities

You will protect the business you work for and PoolsiFi Technologies Inc. against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs that arise from:

  • your breach of confidentiality;
  • material you deliver that copies someone else's work, or that you had no right to use;
  • acting deliberately outside the brief, the owner's instructions or the gateway's rules;
  • dishonest or unlawful conduct.

This promise protects the business as well as us, and the business may rely on it. For anything other than deliberate, dishonest or unlawful conduct, it is limited to the fees you paid us and, under a retainer, the shares we paid you in the last three months. It does not cover a mistake made in good faith while following the brief; that is what review, testing and the owner's approval are for.

16.Disputes with the business

Any dispute between you and the business about the internship or retainer, the work, payments, confidentiality, ownership or these promises is resolved only this way:

  1. Tell us first. Write to AI Harness Labs setting out what happened and what you ask for. We send it to the business.
  2. Settle with our help. Both sides have 30 days to settle it, with our help if wanted.
  3. A neutral arbitrator decides. If it is not settled, we appoint a neutral arbitrator who has no part in the dispute. They decide on both sides' written statements, and a call if they need one, within 30 days of receiving both. Their decision is final and binding, and both sides comply with it. The arbitration is held online, seated at New Delhi, India, and conducted in English.

You agree not to take the business to court or to any other arbitration, and not to bring or join a group or class claim against them, except to enforce the arbitrator's decision or to ask a court to stop a breach of confidentiality at once.

A claim must be raised with us within 30 days of when you learned of the events it is about. Each side pays its own costs, but a side whose claim or defence the arbitrator finds groundless, or brought to harass, pays the other side's reasonable costs.

17.Governing law and disputes with us

This agreement is governed by the laws of India.

Any dispute between you and AI Harness Labs is resolved only this way:

  1. Tell us in writing within 30 days of when you learned of what it is about, saying what happened and what you ask for.
  2. Settle in good faith. We both have 30 days to settle it.
  3. Online arbitration. If it is not settled, it goes to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, before a sole arbitrator appointed by the Delhi International Arbitration Centre. The arbitration is held online, on written statements and documents unless the arbitrator decides a video hearing is needed, seated at New Delhi, India and conducted in English. The decision is final and binding.

If your claim is for no more than the fees you have paid us, we pay the arbitration centre's fees, so bringing it never costs you more than it is worth.

Neither side takes the other to court, except to enforce the arbitrator's decision or to ask a court to stop a breach of confidentiality at once. Claims are brought only individually, never as part of a group or class claim. Each side pays its own costs, but a side whose claim or defence the arbitrator finds groundless, or brought to harass, pays the other side's reasonable costs. The limits of liability in this agreement apply to any award.

Disputes between you and the business are resolved only as the clause above on disputes with the business says.

18.Changes

If we change this agreement we publish a new version here with a new date, and email you if the change affects you. The version you accepted stays on record against your application. A change never takes away a refund you were already entitled to.

19.Being shown on the site

Showing your placement is optional and off unless you turn it on, from your internship page once the internship is completed. If you do, and the business has also chosen to be listed, we may show your first name, the business's name and city, the outcome, a one-line summary of the project and the month it ended. We never show your full name, your email or your reference letter. You can hide it at any time.
