The terms for using AI Harness Labs

Who these terms are between

AI Harness Labs ("we") and you, whether you apply as a learner or post a project as a business. By applying, posting a project, paying, or using the course, you agree to these terms.

For learners

Applying is free. We review every application and decide whether to offer a place. We can decline an application without giving a reason.

The fee. If accepted, you pay $300 once. It covers the online course, mentor review, and the internship placement. There is nothing else to pay later. Payment is taken by Stripe in US dollars. If you want to withdraw after paying, write to us and we will look at it case by case.

The course is self-paced with no deadline. Course content is for your own learning; please do not copy or redistribute it.

The internship is unpaid, remote, and runs 1 to 3 months with a business we match you to. You keep the right to describe the project in your portfolio without the business's data. The business owns the code and the agent you build for it.

A job at the end is a chance, not a promise. We do not guarantee a placement date, a particular business, a hire, or a contract. We place trainees whose capstone works, in the order they finish, as suitable projects come in.

Conduct. Treat the business, its data, and its customers as you would want your own treated. Sign the business's NDA before you see anything, and follow it. We can end a placement for misconduct.

For businesses

Posting a project is free and creates no obligation until we have scoped it with you and you have agreed to the brief. We only take on problems that are real, scoped to 1 to 3 months, and safe to give to a trainee with a mentor.

What we ask of you: a 30-minute call each week with the trainee, and a short reference letter if the work was good.

You own the result. The code and the agent run on accounts and systems you control. The trainee keeps the right to describe the project in their portfolio without your data.

Hiring. You may hire the trainee afterwards on any terms you agree with them. There is no placement fee and no exclusivity.

Stopping. You can stop at any weekly call and keep whatever has been built so far. There is nothing to pay and nothing to cancel.

Accounts

You are responsible for the email account and Google account you use to sign in. Tell us if you think someone else has access.

Limits

We provide the course and the placement in good faith. We are not responsible for what a business does with the software, for outcomes of an internship, or for losses that are not a direct result of something we did wrong. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and contact

If we change these terms we update the date at the top and email anyone the change affects. Questions: reply to any email from us.
