Finding your way around the site

What is in the header menus, the footer and the "Log in" link, and how the menus behave on a phone or a narrow window.

Every public page has the same header and footer, so you can reach any part of the site from wherever you are.

The header

From left to right the header shows:

  1. The AI Harness Labs name, which takes you to the home page.
  2. "For students", with "The program", "The course, lesson by lesson", "The internship", "How it works, step by step", "Questions people ask", "Refund policy" and "Apply now".
  3. "For US businesses", with "Why post a project", "An AI-driven business, part by part", "Build instead of renting", "Workflow library", "The programme", "How it works, step by step", "What owners ask first", "Business Agreement" and "Post a project".
  4. "How it works", with "For learners, step by step", "For businesses, step by step" and "Help guides".
  5. "Agreements", with the Intern Agreement, the Business Agreement, the Mutual NDA, the refund policy, the Retainer Agreement, the Contractor Agreement, Privacy and Terms.
  6. The theme control (System, Light, Dark).
  7. "Log in", or your own links once you are signed in.
  8. The "Post a project" button.

Each menu name is a link to its own page. On a wide screen, hover over a menu or press the small arrow beside it to see the links inside. Pressing the arrow of a menu that hovering opened keeps it open; press it again, or Escape, to close it.

On a phone or a narrow window

When the window is too narrow for the whole header row (a phone, a tablet, or a small browser window), the header shows the AI Harness Labs name and a menu button at the top right ("Open menu"). Press it: every menu opens as one list, with all the links shown, and the theme control, "Log in" and "Post a project" under them. Press it again ("Close menu") to close the list. Pressing a link closes it too.

Once you are signed in

"Log in" is replaced by your own area: "Your course" for learners and free Starter accounts, "Your projects" for business owners, "Your application" for applicants who have not paid yet. A few shortcuts and "Sign out" follow it: "Workflows", "Capstone" and "Internship" for learners, "Workflows" on Starter, and "Interview", "Earnings" and "Agents" for business owners.

Your account page is inside your own area: press your name at the top right there. See Your account or Your business account.

The footer repeats the main pages: "For students", "Apply", "For US businesses", "Inside a business", "Post a project", "How it works", "Help", "Agreements", "Refund policy", "Retainer Agreement", "Contractor Agreement", "Privacy", "Terms", "Brand" and "Log in".

When the site has a contact address set, the footer also shows "Contact:" with the address.

The guide

The "What should I do next?" button at the top right, just under the header, opens the guide on every public page. See The guide button and what it can answer.

  • How to read the home page

The home page has two halves, one for US businesses and one for interns. Here is where each leads and what the business home shows.

  • The guide button and what it can answer

The "What should I do next?" button opens the guide. Pick your side, see the one next step for the page you are on, and ask up to 5 short questions a day.

  • Light and dark theme

Choose System, Light or Dark from the theme control in the header. The site remembers your choice on this browser.
