The workflow library is a set of designs for the jobs a small business does every week. Each one says what the agent does, what a person checks before anything goes out, and the data it needs. Open it from "For US businesses", then "Workflow library", or go to /workflows. Signed in as a business owner, "Workflows" in your dashboard menu opens it too.
Without logging in: samples
Without logging in you see a few sample designs and a panel that says how many designs the library holds, with "Log in to see them all." Every account sees the whole library: interns, free Starter accounts and businesses that have posted a project.
- "Log in" in the panel brings you back to the same page once you are in.
- No account yet? Under "New here?" in the panel: "Start free", "Apply now" or "Post a project". Posting a project makes a business account.
- Search and the filters look through the samples only, and the page says so.
- A business type's page shows that type's samples, if it has any, and how many designs it has in all.
- Opening a design that is not a sample takes you to the login page, and back to the design afterwards.
Browse by business type
"Browse by business type" lists kinds of business, such as Dental practices or Plumbing, in groups such as "Health, care and wellness". The number next to each is how many designs it has so far; a business type with none yet is not listed.
Press a business type to open its own page, such as "Dental practices workflows". It shows the designs written for that kind of business, by department, with "Custom software" (small in-house tools) on its own. Under them, "Also useful for any business" suggests a few general designs. Each card has "Post this as a project".
For a description of each kind of business (its day, the jobs an agent can take on and what stays with people), open "Business types" under "For US businesses", or go to /industries. Each business type there has its own page with its workflow count and the systems such businesses usually run.
"Workflows for any business" on the library page lists designs that fit most small businesses, a few per department. "See all" under a department shows the rest.
Search and narrow the list
- Type a word in "Search the titles", such as invoices, or leave it empty.
- Choose a "Business type", or "Any business" for the general designs, or leave "All business types".
- Choose a "Department", such as Money or Sales, or leave "All departments".
- Choose a "Job" if you want one kind of work. The list of jobs follows the department you picked.
- Press "Show designs".
The line above the cards says how many designs match. A long list comes in pages: "Next page" and "Previous page" are under the cards. "Clear the filter" brings back the business types. The department names under the form are shortcuts to the same filter.
Read a card
Each card shows the design's title, how hard it is ("Starter", "Intermediate" or "Advanced") and the jobs it serves.
"A design, not yet run for a business" means nobody has run that design end to end for a business yet. It is a usable plan, not a tested product. A design that has been run says "Run for a business".
Open a design
Press a title to read the whole design: the job, the trigger and outcome, the tools, the steps, the human checks, the data needed and some variations. "For:" under the title names the business types it was written for; press one to see that type's designs. The side panel lists the department, the jobs and the tools. "Sources" at the foot lists the pages the design draws on, with the date each was checked.
Post it as a project
Press "Post this as a project". If you are not signed in, the project form opens with the design's title and its first section already in "What do you want done?". You can change that text before you send it.
If you are signed in as a business owner, the AI interview opens instead, about that design. See Starting from an app idea or a workflow.
Your job is not in the library
Post it anyway with "Post a project" at the foot of the page. Write it the way you would explain it to a new hire, and we scope it with you on a call.
The "More workflow libraries elsewhere" links are further reading from other sites, not part of the programme.
