Press your name (or your email address) at the top right of any course page to open "Your account". On a narrow phone screen the name is hidden: go to /learn/account instead. It is about you; what other people see of your work is a different page, Your public page, linked from the top of this one.
Your details
"Email" is the address you sign in with. It cannot be changed on the page: to change it, write to hello@aiharnesslabs.com, from that address.
"Full name", "Phone" and "City" can be changed. Press "Save details"; the page says "Saved." Your name is what we and a business you are matched with call you, so keep it the one you use.
Your placements
"Your placements" lists every internship as "Placement 1 of 2" and so on, with the business, the status and the reference letter, and any extra placement you paid for that is not matched yet. While you have fewer than 3 placements, "Add another business" buys one more ($50). You can cancel an extra placement before it is matched. See Extra placements at other businesses.
Refunds
"Refunds" lists every refund made to you, with the amount, the rule that grants it and where it stands: "Refunded to the card you paid with", "On its way, by the same method you paid", "Sent back, by the same method you paid", or "Did not go through yet; we are looking into it". Refunds under the refund policy are made automatically. See Refunds.
Withdrawing
"Withdraw from the course" says whether rule 4.1 still applies to you. Within 14 days of paying, and until you complete the second module, "Withdraw and get a refund" asks you to confirm, then refunds the course fee and any extra placement you paid for that is not matched. The course closes for you: signing in afterwards opens a page that says you withdrew, with your refunds. Once 14 days have passed since you paid, or you have completed the second module, the card says which rule applies and why, and there is no button.
Agreements you accepted
One line per agreement recorded on your account, with the version you accepted and the date:
- the Terms of service, if you started free;
- the Intern Agreement (with its refund policy), accepted when you applied;
- the Mutual NDA, once per internship, with the business's name;
- the Contractor Agreement, once per retainer you took on.
Each line links to the agreement, and "View signed copy" opens the copy you accepted: the agreement with your name and the other side's, the date and time, the network address and browser it came from, and a document fingerprint. "Print or save as PDF" on that page opens your browser's print dialog; choose "Save as PDF" to keep a file. Agreements accepted before 6 October 2026 say "signed copy not kept for agreements accepted before 6 October 2026": their version and date are all we recorded. If a line says "Signed copy missing", write to hello@aiharnesslabs.com; we can make it from the record.
The version is the one current when you ticked the box; a later change to the wording does not change your record. People who applied before the form had a checkbox see "No acceptance is recorded on your account."
Where you are
One line each, each a link: the course (how many core lessons you have done), the capstone ("Locked", "Unlocked", "Submitted", "Changes requested" or "Approved"), the internship (the same words as the card on the course home), your placements (how many), your live retainers when you have any, and your retainer earnings (paid and pending, linking to "Your earnings") once you hold or held a retainer. Nothing here is new information; it is the course home in one place.
On Starter
A free Starter account shows only what applies to it: "Your details", "Your plan: Starter" (what is included, and "Apply for the full course" or where your application stands, including from when you can apply again after a "no"), "Sign out everywhere" and "Delete your account". There are no payments, refunds or placements to show. Under the plan, "Terms of service" shows the version you accepted on Start free, with "View signed copy".
"Delete your account" asks you to type your email address, then deletes the account with your progress, your questions to the mentor and any application (the signed copy of the Terms you accepted is kept, as the record of what was agreed), and signs you out to the home page with "Your account is deleted and you are signed out." It cannot be undone; to come back later, start free again. Once you are on the full course, ask us to delete your account instead, from your sign-in address.
Sign out everywhere
"Sign out everywhere" ends your session in every browser and on every device, this one included. Use it after signing in on a shared computer or losing a phone. Sign in again afterwards with Google or an emailed link, as in Signing in.
