Your public page and build log

Switch on a public page that shows your progress, capstone and outcome, choose what it shows, and publish short build-log posts checked by the AI mentor.

Your public page shows what you have built: your progress, your approved capstone, your internship outcome and the posts you publish. It is off until you switch it on. Open it with "Your page" in the menu at the top.

Switch it on

  1. Press "Switch my page on".
  2. The page says "Your page is on" and gives you a link. "Open your page" shows it as others see it.

"Switch my page off" hides it again at once. The link then shows a not-found page until you switch it back on.

Share it

Once it is on, "Share a milestone" has "Share on LinkedIn" and "Copy link". LinkedIn shows a card with your first name and your latest milestone.

Choose what it shows

Under "Page settings":

  • "Handle (your page address)": the last part of your link. Lowercase letters, digits and hyphens. The page tells you if a handle is taken.
  • "Bio (optional, up to 280 characters)".
  • "What your page shows": your city, your course progress, your capstone once it is approved, and your internship outcome once it is completed. Untick any you want to keep off.
  • "Let search engines list it." Leave it off if only people with the link should find the page.

Press "Save page settings".

Your first name, bio and published posts are always on the page. Your email and full name never are.

The build log

The build log is short posts about what you are building. Published posts appear on your page, newest first, while the page is on.

  1. Under "Write a post", add an optional title and write in "What you built, learned or got stuck on".
  2. Press "Publish", or "Save draft" to finish it later.
  3. During an internship, "Start from this week's check-in" drafts a post from your latest check-in. Check-ins are written for the business, so take out anything confidential before you publish.

Describe a business by its kind, such as "a plumbing company in Texas", not by its customers, prices or systems.

The AI check on posts

Publishing sends the post to the AI mentor first. It holds a post that contains a business's confidential details: customer data, prices, internal systems, credentials, or the name of a business that has not agreed to be named. The post shows "Being checked" while that happens.

If the mentor holds it, you see "Before this goes live:" and what to change. Edit the post and publish again.

If the AI check is not switched on, one check still runs: a post may not name a business that has not agreed to be named.

You can publish 5 times a day. The count resets at midnight UTC. If we hide a post, it shows "Hidden by the team" and our reason.

Deleting a post

Press "Delete" on the post, then "Yes, delete it" (or "Yes, take it off my page" for a published post).

  • Your capstone

What to submit, how the AI review reads it, what to do when changes are requested, and what approval means for your placement.

  • Outcome and reference letter

How your internship ends, where to find the outcome and download your reference letter, and how to share the milestone.

  • The placements listing

After a completed internship you can choose to show the placement on the site, next to the business, if the business agrees to be listed too. It is off until you say yes.
