The course home is the first page you see after you sign in as a learner, or on a free Starter account. Open it any time with "Course" in the menu at the top.
The menu at the top
- "Course": this page and every lesson.
- "Workflows": the workflow library.
- "Capstone": your capstone.
- "Internship": your internship page.
- "Retainers": any retainer a business keeps you on after an internship.
- "Your page": your public page and build log.
On Starter the menu has only "Course" and "Workflows", followed by "Apply for the full course".
Beside the menu, a "Next:" pill shows your next step. At the top right are "Help", the theme control, your name and "Sign out". Your name opens Your account; on a narrow phone screen it is hidden, so go to /learn/account instead.
Progress
The "Progress" card says how many lessons you have completed out of the total, such as "3 of 20 lessons", with a bar. Both numbers count core lessons only.
Electives are optional. They are listed with the course and marked "Elective", and they never count towards the capstone.
Continue
The button under the bar opens the next lesson to do:
- "Start the first lesson" when you have not completed any.
- "Continue:" and the lesson's title after that. It always opens the first core lesson you have not completed.
- "Go to your capstone" once every core lesson is done.
On Starter, once every free lesson is done, the button is "Apply for the full course".
On Starter
A box headed "Starter (free)" says what Starter includes: module 1 in full and the first lesson of every other module. Once module 1 is done, it says "You finished module 1. Apply when you are ready: your progress carries over." Its link, "Apply for the full course →", opens the application form.
There are no capstone or internship cards on Starter. See Starter: try the course free.
Your next step
Under the progress card is the guide's panel: the one step to take now, why it is worth it, and a button. See The guide, once you are signed in.
The library you build from
A strip of six counts: business types, workflows, connectors, official MCP servers, skills and tools. Point at one to see what it counts. They are counted from the library and refreshed every hour. "Browse the toolkit" opens the connectors and skills.
How the course works
The "On this page" strip explains the page in four steps. Press "Got it" to fold it away; "How this page works" brings it back.
The capstone card
- "Locked": finish every core lesson to unlock it.
- "Unlocked": build your agent and submit it.
- "Submitted": it is being reviewed; you get an email when it is done.
- "Changes requested": read the review, make the changes and resubmit.
- "Approved": you are eligible for placement.
"Open capstone" takes you there.
The internship card
It starts as "After your capstone", then "Awaiting a match" once your capstone is approved. When you are matched it shows "With" and the business's name. At the end it shows the outcome. "Open your internship" or "Internship status" takes you to the internship page.
If we could not offer you an internship in time, it shows "Fee refunded" and "See your refunds": your fee went back under rule 4.2, and you keep the course. See Refunds.
Your placements
Once your capstone is approved, or once you have paid for an extra placement, the "Your placements" card lists every placement as "Placement 1 of 2" and so on, with the business, its status and the reference letter. While you can add one, "Add another business" takes you to your account page to do it. See Extra placements at other businesses.
Your referral rewards
Once you have paid, "Your referral rewards" shows how many friends signed up with your referral code, what is waiting, payable and paid, and your latest referrals with a line for each, such as "Waiting: your friend can still get a refund until their internship starts". "See your referrals" opens the full list. See Referring a friend.
Your background
"Your background (optional)" asks for your years of experience, your role and your industry. It helps us match you with a business that fits and is never shown on its own. Press "Save"; "Edit" lets you change it later.
Modules
Under "Modules" every module lists its lessons. A tick means you completed the lesson. The count on each module, such as "2 / 4 done", includes electives.
On Starter each lesson also has a badge: "Free" (module 1), "Preview" (the first lesson of every other module) or "Full course" (opens when you join the full course).
