After you apply

After you apply, we read your application ourselves and reply within 2 working days, usually to set up a short call. You do not pay anything until you are accepted.

The emails you get

1. "Your application to AI Harness Labs" arrives straight away. It confirms we have your application.
2. Then one of two decision emails:
   • "You are accepted to AI Harness Labs", with a "Pay and start" button. The button signs you in and opens your payment page. It works once and expires after an hour; after that, sign in from "Log in" instead.
   • "About your application to AI Harness Labs" if we cannot offer you a place this time. There is nothing to pay. After a first application, it also says you can apply once more, from 24 hours after the email.

Check your status

Sign in with the email you applied with (see Signing in). Applicants land on their application page, which also shows as "Your application" in the header of the public pages.

The page shows one of these:

• "Under review": "We have your application". We reply within 2 working days, and there is nothing to pay until you are accepted.
• "You are accepted": your payment page. See Paying for the course.
• "Thank you for applying": we could not offer you a place this time. Under it, the page says whether you can apply again:
  • "You can apply again from" a date and time, in UTC, until the 24 hours are up;
  • "You can apply again once. Your new application is read afresh." with an "Apply again" button, after that;
  • "You have already applied twice. Write to us if something has changed." after a second application.
• "Paid": "You are in". Press "Go to the course".

If you started free

If you applied from a free Starter account, you keep landing on the course when you sign in, and module 1 stays open while we decide. "Your account" (press your name at the top right) shows where your application stands, with "See your application". The acceptance email's "Pay and start" button opens the payment page as above. The guide while you wait

The "Your next step" button at the top right shows where you are. While we read your application, it says it is waiting on us: "We are reading your application. The decision comes by email, and a yes comes with the payment link." After a "no", its step is "Apply again", and until you can, it says "You can apply again from" the date and time.

Changing your answers

The application cannot be edited after you send it. If something important changed, write to hello@aiharnesslabs.com.

Once you are a learner, you can fill in or change "Your background (optional)" on the course home page.
