Agent activity, the export and the daily digest

Every request your intern's agent makes is recorded, including the ones we refused. Nobody can edit or delete the record, us included. We keep a fingerprint of what was asked, never the text of your email.

Open the activity page

On the Agents page, press "See everything the agent did". The page is called "Everything the agent asked for".

Requests

Each line says which intern's agent asked, what it did, what happened and when (in UTC). Your own tests show as "You (test)". What happened is one of:

• "Done"
• "Done, after you approved it"
• "Done, under your standing permission"
• "Waiting for your approval"
• "Failed", or "Approved, but it failed"
• "Refused:" and the reason

Common reasons for a refusal:

• "the token was not allowed to do that"
• "a recipient was not on your list of allowed addresses"
• "a link pointed to a site not on your list"
• "it touched something you said must never be automated"
• "it contained something that looked like a password or key"
• "agents were paused"
• "too many requests in an hour"
• "the token had been revoked"

The page shows the latest 200 requests. The download has the latest 10,000.

Access changes

Under the requests is a list of changes: accounts connected or disconnected, tokens issued or revoked, pauses and resumes, going live or back to rehearsal, standing permissions given or taken back, and limits or lists changed.

Download as a spreadsheet

Press "Download as a spreadsheet (CSV)". The file has one row per request: when (UTC), the intern, what the agent asked, what happened, and, for requests that waited for your approval, the request id. Access changes are not in the file.

The daily digest

If something ran under a standing permission in the last day, we email you once a day: "Your intern's agent did" so many "things without asking in the last day". It lists each kind with a count, and "See each one" opens the activity page. No email is sent on a day when nothing ran that way.

To have those requests wait for your approval again, take the permission back on the Agents page. "Pause all" stops everything at once.

How long it is kept

The record is deleted after 24 months, and when an account is deleted.
