When you press "Propose projects now", the interview writes up to 3 projects that fit your business. They appear under "Proposed projects". Nothing is matched until you approve one.
Read a proposal
Each card has a title, a status ("Proposed", "Approved" or "Dismissed") and these parts:
- "The problem, in your words"
- "What the agent would do"
- "What done looks like"
- "Data needed"
- "Expected length", between 1 and 3 months
- "Risks"
Approve one
Press "Approve this project". It reads "Creating the project" while it works. The project is created, scoped and added to your projects page.
What you see next depends on the project:
- "Approved. Next, confirm the facts from your interview so we can match an intern." with a link to confirm them. See The facts page.
- "Matched." Your intern's name and email are on the project page, and they will write to you this week.
- "No intern is free right now. We will email you the moment one is assigned."
- "Approved. It is on your projects page, scoped and ready for us to match a trainee."
"Open the project" takes you to its page.
You can approve more than one proposal. Each becomes its own project. You can have up to 5 internships active at a time.
Dismiss the rest
Press "Dismiss" on a proposal you do not want. A dismissed proposal cannot be approved later; start a new interview for fresh proposals.
Closing the interview also dismisses any proposals you have not approved.
The brief
An approved proposal becomes the project's brief: the goal, what done looks like, the data (starting from sample or synthetic data; the trainee never gets passwords or account access), the length with a written check-in each week, and the risks.
The fee
The intern builds it at no cost to you. When the internship completes with your written review of their work, we pay you the $50 completion fee.
