"Your AI plan" is a page on your dashboard where you pick the jobs in your business you would hand to an agent and see what is reasonably possible in a year: the time and money those agents could save, the completion fees if each internship is completed, and your own time. Every job you pick is one project, built by one trained intern in one internship of 1 to 3 months.
Open "AI plan" in the dashboard menu, or press "Plan more projects" on the Earnings page or under your interview's proposals.
Step by step
- Under "1. Pick the jobs", read the jobs by department: front office, sales, marketing, money, operations and people. Each shows what its agent does. "See every job explained" opens the page that walks through every one.
- Press "Add to the plan" on each job you want. Press "Remove" to take one out again.
- For each job you picked, change "Hours a week on it today" to the hours your team spends on it now. We suggest 5 to start; put in your own.
- Change "What an hour of staff time costs you" to your own figure if you know it. We suggest the average US employer cost per hour worked.
- Read "2. The plan" and "3. What it could be worth". They change as you type.
- Press "Show the working" to see every sum and the sources behind it.
- Press "Save the plan". The page says when it was saved, and your plan is there when you come back.
- When you are ready, press "Turn these into projects". See The next step: the interview.
What the page shows
- The plan: your jobs in waves. Up to 5 internships run at once, so a longer plan is built in waves, the jobs that take the most hours first. Each wave shows when it would be handed over, between 1 and 3 months after the one before, if each wave is matched as soon as it can be. This is the fastest the programme allows, not a promise of when an intern is matched.
- Savings each year once the agents run, and savings in the first 12 months, counted from the month each project is handed over.
- Software you could stop renting: the yearly saving from your subscription review, if you have listed what you pay for. If you have not, the page links to the review. It is not added to the savings from the jobs.
- Completion fees: $50 for each internship completed with a written review. A programme fee for your time, per completed internship. We make no promise of income. Fees are shown on their own and never added to the savings.
- Your time: up to 1 hour a month for each intern while they build, in hours. The intern and the AI do the work, and you approve it on your dashboard.
How the numbers are worked out
Each job's saving a year is: hours a week on it today × the share of that time an agent frees up × 52 weeks × what an hour of staff time costs you.
- The share is 14% to 34%. Support agents with an AI assistant resolved 14% more issues an hour, and newer staff 34% more (Brynjolfsson, Li and Raymond, Generative AI at Work). A built agent for one job is used the same way, so we take the same range. It is our estimate on that source.
- For comparison, people using generative AI as a general tool saved 5.4% of their work hours (St. Louis Fed, February 2025). It is shown as context and not used in the sums.
- The suggested cost of an hour of staff time is the average US employer cost per hour worked (BLS, Employer Costs for Employee Compensation).
- The first 12 months count each job only from its handover. The low end assumes 3-month internships and the low share; the high end assumes 1-month internships and the high share.
Every figure carries a small tag: "source", "estimate", "assumed", "your number" or "setting" (a programme setting, such as the number of internships at once or the fee). The sources are listed, with the date we read them, on the What it is worth page; the numbers in the working link to them.
A range, not a forecast
Nobody can tell you exactly what a business will save. The ranges come from published studies and your own numbers, and show what is reasonable to expect if the agents are built and used. The page does not count what it costs to run the agents yet.
The next step: the interview
"Turn these into projects" saves your plan and opens the AI interview with your picks as the jobs to start from. It turns up to 3 at a time into scoped briefs. You approve every brief before anyone is matched, and each one is built by a trained intern. See The AI interview and Proposals and approval.
