The placements listing

Choose whether we may name your business on the site next to finished work. Off unless you turn it on, with the box on the form or the Listing switch on your dashboard.

The business home page and the "Why post a project" page can show businesses that took on interns, next to the finished work. It shows other owners that you run real projects. Being listed is optional and off unless you turn it on.

Turn it on or off

Either:

  • tick "You may name us as a participating business on your site." when you post a project, or
  • on your projects page, find "Listing" and turn on "Name us on the site as a participating business".

The switch says "Listed" or "Not listed". Turn it off at any time: "Not listed. Your business no longer appears on the site."

What is shown

Your business name and city, and a one-line summary of the project. Next to it, the first name of an intern who also chose to be shown, the outcome and the month it ended.

We never show your contact details.

When it appears

  • A placement is shown only when both you and the intern have chosen to be listed.
  • The "Placements" section appears on the site only once there are enough listed placements to show. Until then it is not shown at all.

The guide suggests "Opt in to the placements listing" after you complete your first internship.

  • Completing an internship and the reference letter

Record the outcome with a written review and an optional reference letter. The review is what earns the completion fee and goes on the intern's record.

  • Referring your intern

Send another business owner a page with your intern's work in one click, what that page shows, and how to take it down.

  • Privacy and your data

What we collect, who sees it, which services handle it, how long we keep it, and how to see, correct or delete it.
