There are two ways to turn a problem in your business into a project an intern can build. Both are free.
The two ways
Post a project on the form. Describe the problem in plain English on "Post a project". We call you within 2 working days to scope it, write the brief with you, and match an intern by hand. See How to post a project.
Take the AI interview. From your dashboard, the interview asks about your business one question at a time, for about 15 minutes, and proposes up to 3 projects. You approve the ones you want with one click, and each becomes a scoped brief. See The AI interview.
You need an account for the interview, and the form creates one. So most owners post a project first, then take the interview from the dashboard to set up more.
The one-page brief
To read everything on one page, or pass it to a partner, open the business brief. It covers what we do, the five steps, what it costs, what you keep, the safety rails and what we ask of you. Press "Print" there for one page, or download the PDF.
Sign in to your dashboard
The email we send when you post a project has an "Open your dashboard" button that signs you in. After that, press "Log in" on the site and use Google or an emailed link with the same work email. There is no password.
No account yet? Posting a project makes one. On the login page, "I run a US business" under "New here?" takes you to "Post a project".
Your dashboard menu
Across the top:
- "Projects": every project, its status and your intern.
- "Being built": where each project is and what your intern is building for you. See Following what's being built.
- "Interview": the AI interview.
- "Facts": what we heard from you in the interview, to confirm.
- "Earnings": the completion fees we owe and have paid you.
- "Agents": your intern's agent, the accounts it may use and everything it did.
- "Retainers": any intern you keep on after an internship.
The item for the part you are in is highlighted. "Projects" stays highlighted on each project's own page.
Beside the menu, a "Next:" pill shows your next step. At the top right are "Help", the theme control, your name and "Sign out". Your name opens Your business account; on a narrow phone screen it is hidden, so go to /business/dashboard/account instead.
What happens next
- The project is scoped: a brief is agreed.
- An intern is matched to it. Projects from an app idea or a workflow are matched automatically; others by hand.
- The intern writes to you to set up the scoping call, and signs your NDA before seeing anything beyond the brief.
- You read the weekly check-in and approve the work on your dashboard, about an hour a month for each intern.
- When the work is handed over, you complete the internship with a written review.
You can run up to 5 internships at a time.
